Surah Aal-i-Imraan Ayah 110
سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَSurah Aal-i-Imran discusses the family of Imran, including Maryam and Isa (Jesus). It was revealed partly in response to a Christian delegation from Najran and addresses theological discussions about the nature of Jesus.
كُنتُمۡ خَیۡرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ تَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَتَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِۗ وَلَوۡ ءَامَنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ لَكَانَ خَیۡرࣰا لَّهُمۚ مِّنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقُونَ
You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.
اب دنیا میں وہ بہترین گروہ تم ہو جسے انسانوں کی ہدایت و اصلاح کے لیے میدان میں لایا گیا ہے تم نیکی کا حکم دیتے ہو، بدی سے روکتے ہو اور اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہو یہ اہل کتاب ایمان لاتے تو انہی کے حق میں بہتر تھا اگرچہ ان میں کچھ لوگ ایمان دار بھی پائے جاتے ہیں مگر اِن کے بیشتر افراد نافرمان ہیں
