Surah Aal-i-Imraan Ayah 35
سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَSurah Aal-i-Imran discusses the family of Imran, including Maryam and Isa (Jesus). It was revealed partly in response to a Christian delegation from Najran and addresses theological discussions about the nature of Jesus.
إِذۡ قَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ عِمۡرَ ٰنَ رَبِّ إِنِّی نَذَرۡتُ لَكَ مَا فِی بَطۡنِی مُحَرَّرࣰا فَتَقَبَّلۡ مِنِّیۤۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ
[Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
(وہ اُس وقت سن رہا تھا) جب عمران کی عورت کہہ رہی تھی کہ، "میرے پروردگار! میں اس بچے کو جو میرے پیٹ میں ہے تیری نذر کرتی ہوں، وہ تیرے ہی کام کے لیے وقف ہوگا میری اس پیشکش کو قبول فرما تو سننے اور جاننے والا ہے"
