Surah Aal-i-Imraan Ayah 39
سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَSurah Aal-i-Imran discusses the family of Imran, including Maryam and Isa (Jesus). It was revealed partly in response to a Christian delegation from Najran and addresses theological discussions about the nature of Jesus.
فَنَادَتۡهُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَهُوَ قَاۤىِٕمࣱ یُصَلِّی فِی ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُبَشِّرُكَ بِیَحۡیَىٰ مُصَدِّقَۢا بِكَلِمَةࣲ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَسَیِّدࣰا وَحَصُورࣰا وَنَبِیࣰّا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ
So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, "Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous."
جواب میں فرشتوں نے آواز دی، جب کہ وہ محراب میں کھڑا نماز پڑھ رہا تھا، کہ "اللہ تجھے یحییٰؑ کی خوش خبری دیتا ہے وہ اللہ کی طرف سے ایک فرمان کی تصدیق کرنے و الا بن کر آئے گا اس میں سرداری و بزرگی کی شان ہوگی کمال درجہ کا ضابط ہوگا نبوت سے سرفراز ہوگا اور صالحین میں شمار کیا جائے گا"
