Surah Aal-i-Imraan Ayah 47
سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَSurah Aal-i-Imran discusses the family of Imran, including Maryam and Isa (Jesus). It was revealed partly in response to a Christian delegation from Najran and addresses theological discussions about the nature of Jesus.
قَالَتۡ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ یَكُونُ لِی وَلَدࣱ وَلَمۡ یَمۡسَسۡنِی بَشَرࣱۖ قَالَ كَذَ ٰلِكِ ٱللَّهُ یَخۡلُقُ مَا یَشَاۤءُۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰۤ أَمۡرࣰا فَإِنَّمَا یَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَیَكُونُ
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.
یہ سن کر مریمؑ بولی، "پروردگار! میرے ہاں بچہ کہاں سے ہوگا، مجھے تو کسی شخص نے ہاتھ تک نہیں لگایا" جواب ملا، "ایسا ہی ہوگا، اللہ جو چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے وہ جب کسی کام کے کرنے کا فیصلہ فرماتا ہے تو بس کہتا ہے کہ ہو جا اور وہ ہو جاتا ہے"
