Surah Al-Ahzaab Ayah 53
سُورَةُ الأَحۡزَابِSurah Al-Ahzab addresses events during the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq) and provides important rulings regarding the Prophet's household and social conduct.
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَدۡخُلُوا۟ بُیُوتَ ٱلنَّبِیِّ إِلَّاۤ أَن یُؤۡذَنَ لَكُمۡ إِلَىٰ طَعَامٍ غَیۡرَ نَـٰظِرِینَ إِنَىٰهُ وَلَـٰكِنۡ إِذَا دُعِیتُمۡ فَٱدۡخُلُوا۟ فَإِذَا طَعِمۡتُمۡ فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ وَلَا مُسۡتَـٔۡنِسِینَ لِحَدِیثٍۚ إِنَّ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ كَانَ یُؤۡذِی ٱلنَّبِیَّ فَیَسۡتَحۡیِۦ مِنكُمۡۖ وَٱللَّهُ لَا یَسۡتَحۡیِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّۚ وَإِذَا سَأَلۡتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَـٰعࣰا فَسۡـَٔلُوهُنَّ مِن وَرَاۤءِ حِجَابࣲۚ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ أَطۡهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمۡ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّۚ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ أَن تُؤۡذُوا۟ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَاۤ أَن تَنكِحُوۤا۟ أَزۡوَ ٰجَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۤ أَبَدًاۚ إِنَّ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ كَانَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ عَظِیمًا
O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity.
اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، نبیؐ کے گھروں میں بلا اجازت نہ چلے آیا کرو نہ کھانے کا وقت تاکتے رہو ہاں اگر تمہیں کھانے پر بلایا جائے تو ضرور آؤ مگر جب کھانا کھالو تو منتشر ہو جاؤ، باتیں کرنے میں نہ لگے رہو تمہاری یہ حرکتیں نبیؐ کو تکلیف دیتی ہیں، مگر وہ شرم کی وجہ سے کچھ نہیں کہتے اور اللہ حق بات کہنے میں نہیں شرماتا نبیؐ کی بیویوں سے اگر تمہیں کچھ مانگنا ہو تو پردے کے پیچھے سے مانگا کرو، یہ تمہارے اور ان کے دلوں کی پاکیزگی کے لیے زیادہ مناسب طریقہ ہے تمہارے لیے یہ ہرگز جائز نہیں کہ اللہ کے رسولؐ کو تکلیف دو، اور نہ یہ جائز ہے کہ ان کے بعد ان کی بیویوں سے نکاح کرو، یہ اللہ کے نزدیک بہت بڑا گناہ ہے
