Surah Al-Ahzaab Ayah 59
سُورَةُ الأَحۡزَابِSurah Al-Ahzab addresses events during the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq) and provides important rulings regarding the Prophet's household and social conduct.
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّبِیُّ قُل لِّأَزۡوَ ٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاۤءِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ یُدۡنِینَ عَلَیۡهِنَّ مِن جَلَـٰبِیبِهِنَّۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ أَدۡنَىٰۤ أَن یُعۡرَفۡنَ فَلَا یُؤۡذَیۡنَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
اے نبیؐ، اپنی بیویوں اور بیٹیوں اور اہل ایمان کی عورتوں سے کہہ دو کہ اپنے اوپر اپنی چادروں کے پلو لٹکا لیا کریں یہ زیادہ مناسب طریقہ ہے تاکہ وہ پہچان لی جائیں اور نہ ستائی جائیں اللہ تعالیٰ غفور و رحیم ہے
