Surah Al-A’raaf Ayah 129
سُورَةُ الأَعۡرَافِSurah Al-A'raf narrates the stories of many prophets and their nations, emphasizing the consequences of rejecting divine guidance. The name refers to the heights between Paradise and Hell.
قَالُوۤا۟ أُوذِینَا مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَأۡتِیَنَا وَمِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جِئۡتَنَاۚ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن یُهۡلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمۡ وَیَسۡتَخۡلِفَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَیَنظُرَ كَیۡفَ تَعۡمَلُونَ
They said, "We have been harmed before you came to us and after you have come to us." He said, "Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and grant you succession in the land and see how you will do."
اس کی قوم کے لوگوں نے کہا "تیرے آنے سے پہلے بھی ہم ستائے جاتے تھے اور اب تیرے آنے پر بھی ستائے جا رہے ہیں" اس نے جواب دیا "قریب ہے وہ وقت کہ تمہارا رب تمہارے دشمن کو ہلاک کر دے اور تم کو زمین میں خلیفہ بنائے، پھر دیکھے کہ تم کیسے عمل کرتے ہو"
