Surah Al-A’raaf Ayah 33
سُورَةُ الأَعۡرَافِSurah Al-A'raf narrates the stories of many prophets and their nations, emphasizing the consequences of rejecting divine guidance. The name refers to the heights between Paradise and Hell.
قُلۡ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّیَ ٱلۡفَوَ ٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَٱلۡإِثۡمَ وَٱلۡبَغۡیَ بِغَیۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَن تُشۡرِكُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ یُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ
Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know."
اے محمدؐ، اِن سے کہو کہ میرے رب نے جو چیزیں حرام کی ہیں وہ تو یہ ہیں: بے شرمی کے کام خواہ کھلے ہوں یا چھپے اور گناہ اور حق کے خلاف زیادتی اور یہ کہ اللہ کے ساتھ تم کسی کو شریک کرو جس کے لیے اُس نے کوئی سند نازل نہیں کی اور یہ کہ اللہ کے نام پر کوئی ایسی بات کہو جس کے متعلق تمہیں علم نہ ہو کہ وہ حقیقت میں اسی نے فرمائی ہے
