Surah Al-A’raaf Ayah 74
سُورَةُ الأَعۡرَافِSurah Al-A'raf narrates the stories of many prophets and their nations, emphasizing the consequences of rejecting divine guidance. The name refers to the heights between Paradise and Hell.
وَٱذۡكُرُوۤا۟ إِذۡ جَعَلَكُمۡ خُلَفَاۤءَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ عَادࣲ وَبَوَّأَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورࣰا وَتَنۡحِتُونَ ٱلۡجِبَالَ بُیُوتࣰاۖ فَٱذۡكُرُوۤا۟ ءَالَاۤءَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِینَ
And remember when He made you successors after the 'Aad and settled you in the land, [and] you take for yourselves palaces from its plains and carve from the mountains, homes. Then remember the favors of Allah and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
یاد کرو وہ وقت جب اللہ نے قوم عاد کے بعد تمہیں اس کا جانشین بنایا اور تم کو زمین میں یہ منزلت بخشی کہ تم اُس کے ہموار میدانوں میں عالی شان محل بناتے اور اس کے پہاڑوں کو مکانات کی شکل میں تراشتے ہو پس اس کی قدرت کے کرشموں سے غافل نہ ہو جاؤ اور زمین میں فساد برپا نہ کرو"
