Surah Al-Baqara Ayah 101
سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِSurah Al-Baqara is the longest chapter of the Quran, revealed in Madinah. It provides comprehensive guidance on Islamic law, stories of previous prophets, and instructions for building a righteous Muslim community.
وَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡ رَسُولࣱ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقࣱ لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡ نَبَذَ فَرِیقࣱ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ كِتَـٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَاۤءَ ظُهُورِهِمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ
And when a messenger from Allah came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained].
اور جب ان کے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے کوئی رسول اس کتاب کی تصدیق و تائید کرتا ہوا آیا جو ان کے ہاں پہلے سے موجود تھی، تو اِن اہل کتاب میں سے ایک گروہ نے کتاب اللہ کو اس طرح پس پشت ڈالا، گویا کہ وہ کچھ جانتے ہی نہیں
