Surah Al-Baqara Ayah 174
سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِSurah Al-Baqara is the longest chapter of the Quran, revealed in Madinah. It provides comprehensive guidance on Islamic law, stories of previous prophets, and instructions for building a righteous Muslim community.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَكۡتُمُونَ مَاۤ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ وَیَشۡتَرُونَ بِهِۦ ثَمَنࣰا قَلِیلًا أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ مَا یَأۡكُلُونَ فِی بُطُونِهِمۡ إِلَّا ٱلنَّارَ وَلَا یُكَلِّمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ وَلَا یُزَكِّیهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمٌ
Indeed, they who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.
حق یہ ہے کہ جو لوگ اُن احکام کو چھپاتے ہیں جو اللہ نے اپنی کتاب میں ناز ل کیے ہیں اور تھوڑے سے دُنیوی فائدوں پرا نہیں بھینٹ چڑھاتے ہیں، وہ دراصل اپنے پیٹ آگ سے بھر رہے ہیں قیامت کے روز اللہ ہرگز ان سے بات نہ کرے گا، نہ اُنہیں پاکیزہ ٹھیرائے گا، اور اُن کے لیے دردناک سزا ہے
