Surah Al-Baqara Ayah 266
سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِSurah Al-Baqara is the longest chapter of the Quran, revealed in Madinah. It provides comprehensive guidance on Islamic law, stories of previous prophets, and instructions for building a righteous Muslim community.
أَیَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمۡ أَن تَكُونَ لَهُۥ جَنَّةࣱ مِّن نَّخِیلࣲ وَأَعۡنَابࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ لَهُۥ فِیهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰتِ وَأَصَابَهُ ٱلۡكِبَرُ وَلَهُۥ ذُرِّیَّةࣱ ضُعَفَاۤءُ فَأَصَابَهَاۤ إِعۡصَارࣱ فِیهِ نَارࣱ فَٱحۡتَرَقَتۡۗ كَذَ ٰلِكَ یُبَیِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every fruit? But he is afflicted with old age and has weak offspring, and it is hit by a whirlwind containing fire and is burned. Thus does Allah make clear to you [His] verses that you might give thought.
کیا تم میں سے کوئی یہ پسند کرتا ہے کہ اس کے پاس ایک ہرا بھرا باغ ہو، نہروں سے سیراب، کھجوروں اور انگوروں اور ہرقسم کے پھلوں سے لدا ہوا، اور وہ عین اُس وقت ایک تیز بگولے کی زد میں آ کر جھلس جائے، جبکہ وہ خود بوڑھا ہو اور اس کے کم سن بچے ابھی کسی لائق نہ ہوں؟ اس طرح اللہ اپنی باتیں تمہارے سامنے بیان کرتا ہے، شاید کہ تم غور و فکر کرو
