Surah Al-Hadid Ayah 16
سُورَةُ الحَدِيدِSurah Al-Hadid glorifies Allah and calls for spending in His cause. It mentions iron sent down with great benefits and emphasizes the fleeting nature of worldly life.
۞ أَلَمۡ یَأۡنِ لِلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَن تَخۡشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمۡ لِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا یَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبۡلُ فَطَالَ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَدُ فَقَسَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡۖ وَكَثِیرࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَـٰسِقُونَ
Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.
کیا ایمان لانے والوں کے لیے ابھی وہ وقت نہیں آیا کہ اُن کے دل اللہ کے ذکر سے پگھلیں اور اُس کے نازل کردہ حق کے آگے جھکیں اور وہ اُن لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جائیں جنہیں پہلے کتاب دی گئی تھی، پھر ایک لمبی مدت اُن پر گزر گئی تو ان کے دل سخت ہو گئے اور آج ان میں سے اکثر فاسق بنے ہوئے ہیں؟
