Surah Al-Hijr Ayah 74
سُورَةُ الحِجۡرِSurah Al-Hijr emphasizes the preservation of the Quran and recounts stories of previous nations destroyed for their disbelief, including the people of Hijr (Thamud).

فَجَعَلۡنَا عَـٰلِیَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةࣰ مِّن سِجِّیلٍ
English
And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.

اور ہم نے اُس بستی کو تل پٹ کر کے رکھ دیا اور ان پر پکی ہوئی مٹی کے پتھروں کی بارش برسا دی
