Surah Al-Hujuraat Ayah 12
سُورَةُ الحُجُرَاتِSurah Al-Hujurat establishes etiquettes of social interaction, emphasizing respect, avoiding suspicion and backbiting, and the equality of all humans before Allah.
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱجۡتَنِبُوا۟ كَثِیرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعۡضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثۡمࣱۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا۟ وَلَا یَغۡتَب بَّعۡضُكُم بَعۡضًاۚ أَیُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمۡ أَن یَأۡكُلَ لَحۡمَ أَخِیهِ مَیۡتࣰا فَكَرِهۡتُمُوهُۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ
O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.
اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، بہت گمان کرنے سے پرہیز کرو کہ بعض گمان گناہ ہوتے ہیں تجسس نہ کرو اور تم میں سے کوئی کسی کی غیبت نہ کرے کیا تمہارے اندر کوئی ایسا ہے جو اپنے مرے ہوئے بھائی کا گوشت کھانا پسند کرے گا؟ دیکھو، تم خود اس سے گھن کھاتے ہو اللہ سے ڈرو، اللہ بڑا توبہ قبول کرنے والا اور رحیم ہے
