Surah Al-Israa (Bani Israel) Ayah 5
سُورَةُ الإِسۡرَاءِSurah Al-Isra begins with the Prophet's night journey to Jerusalem and ascension to heaven. It provides moral and ethical guidelines and discusses the Children of Israel.
فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ وَعۡدُ أُولَىٰهُمَا بَعَثۡنَا عَلَیۡكُمۡ عِبَادࣰا لَّنَاۤ أُو۟لِی بَأۡسࣲ شَدِیدࣲ فَجَاسُوا۟ خِلَـٰلَ ٱلدِّیَارِۚ وَكَانَ وَعۡدࣰا مَّفۡعُولࣰا
So when the [time of] promise came for the first of them, We sent against you servants of Ours - those of great military might, and they probed [even] into the homes, and it was a promise fulfilled.
آخرکار جب اُن میں سے پہلی سرکشی کا موقع پیش آیا، تو اے بنی اسرائیل، ہم نے تمہارے مقابلے پر اپنے ایسے بندے اٹھائے جو نہایت زور آور تھے اور وہ تمہارے ملک میں گھس کر ہر طرف پھیل گئے یہ ایک وعدہ تھا جسے پورا ہو کر ہی رہنا تھا
