Surah Al-Israa (Bani Israel) Ayah 61
سُورَةُ الإِسۡرَاءِSurah Al-Isra begins with the Prophet's night journey to Jerusalem and ascension to heaven. It provides moral and ethical guidelines and discusses the Children of Israel.

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوۤا۟ إِلَّاۤ إِبۡلِیسَ قَالَ ءَأَسۡجُدُ لِمَنۡ خَلَقۡتَ طِینࣰا
English
And [mention] when We said to the angles, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He said, "Should I prostrate to one You created from clay?"

اور یاد کرو جبکہ ہم نے ملائکہ سے کہا کہ آدمؑ کو سجدہ کرو، تو سب نے سجدہ کیا، مگر ابلیس نے نہ کیا ا س نے کہا "کیا میں اُس کو سجدہ کروں جسے تو نے مٹی سے بنایا ہے؟"
