Surah Al-Maaida Ayah 59
سُورَةُ المَائـِدَةِSurah Al-Ma'idah contains the final revelations on Islamic law and emphasizes fulfilling covenants. It includes the declaration that Islam has been perfected as a religion.
قُلۡ یَـٰۤأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ هَلۡ تَنقِمُونَ مِنَّاۤ إِلَّاۤ أَنۡ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَاۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡنَا وَمَاۤ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَأَنَّ أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ فَـٰسِقُونَ
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except [for the fact] that we have believed in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?"
اِن سے کہو، "اے اہل کتاب! تم جس بات پر ہم سے بگڑے ہو وہ اس کے سوا اور کیا ہے کہ ہم اللہ پر اور دین کی اُس تعلیم پر ایمان لے آئے ہیں جو ہماری طرف نازل ہوئی ہے اور ہم سے پہلے بھی نازل ہوئی تھی، اور تم میں سے اکثر لوگ فاسق ہیں؟"
