Surah Al-Maaida Ayah 70
سُورَةُ المَائـِدَةِSurah Al-Ma'idah contains the final revelations on Islamic law and emphasizes fulfilling covenants. It includes the declaration that Islam has been perfected as a religion.
لَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِیثَـٰقَ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِمۡ رُسُلࣰاۖ كُلَّمَا جَاۤءَهُمۡ رَسُولُۢ بِمَا لَا تَهۡوَىٰۤ أَنفُسُهُمۡ فَرِیقࣰا كَذَّبُوا۟ وَفَرِیقࣰا یَقۡتُلُونَ
We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed.
ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے پختہ عہد لیا اور اُن کی طرف بہت سے رسول بھیجے، مگر جب کبھی ان کے پاس کوئی رسول اُن کی خواہشات نفس کے خلاف کچھ لے کر آیا تو کسی کو انہوں نے جھٹلایا اور کسی کو قتل کر دیا
