Surah Al-Qasas Ayah 45
سُورَةُ القَصَصِSurah Al-Qasas provides a detailed narrative of Musa's life from birth through his mission, including the story of Qarun (Korah) and his destruction due to arrogance.
وَلَـٰكِنَّاۤ أَنشَأۡنَا قُرُونࣰا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۚ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِیࣰا فِیۤ أَهۡلِ مَدۡیَنَ تَتۡلُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتِنَا وَلَـٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِینَ
But We produced [many] generations [after Moses], and prolonged was their duration. And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders [of this message].
بلکہ اس کے بعد (تمہارے زمانے تک) ہم بہت سی نسلیں اٹھا چکے ہیں اور ان پر بہت زمانہ گزر چکا ہے تم اہلِ مَدیَن کے درمیان بھی موجود نہ تھے کہ اُن کو ہماری آیات سُنا رہے ہوتے، مگر (اُس وقت کی یہ خبریں) بھیجنے والے ہم ہیں
