Surah An-Noor Ayah 1
سُورَةُ النُّورِSurah An-Nur establishes laws protecting family honor and social morality. It contains the famous Light Verse (Ayat an-Nur) describing Allah as the Light of the heavens and earth.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ سُورَةٌ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهَا وَفَرَضۡنَـٰهَا وَأَنزَلۡنَا فِیهَاۤ ءَایَـٰتِۭ بَیِّنَـٰتࣲ لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ
English
[This is] a surah which We have sent down and made [that within it] obligatory and revealed therein verses of clear evidence that you might remember.

یہ ایک سورت ہے جس کو ہم نے نازل کیا ہے، اور اسے ہم نے فرض کیا ہے، اور اس میں ہم نے صاف صاف ہدایات نازل کی ہیں، شاید کہ تم سبق لو
