Surah An-Nur establishes laws protecting family honor and social morality. It contains the famous Light Verse (Ayat an-Nur) describing Allah as the Light of the heavens and earth.

وَیُبَیِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ حَكِیمٌ
English

And Allah makes clear to you the verses, and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

اللہ تمہیں صاف صاف ہدایات دیتا ہے اور وہ علیم و حکیم ہے
