Surah Ar-Ra'd presents signs of Allah's power in nature, including thunder which glorifies Him. It emphasizes that true guidance comes only from Allah.

وَیُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعۡدُ بِحَمۡدِهِۦ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ مِنۡ خِیفَتِهِۦ وَیُرۡسِلُ ٱلصَّوَ ٰ⁠عِقَ فَیُصِیبُ بِهَا مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَهُمۡ یُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِی ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِیدُ ٱلۡمِحَالِ
English

And the thunder exalts [Allah] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah; and He is severe in assault.
