Surah Ar-Room Ayah 36
سُورَةُ الرُّومِSurah Ar-Rum begins with a prophecy about the Roman Empire's victory after defeat, which was fulfilled. It presents signs of Allah in creation and human life.

وَإِذَاۤ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحۡمَةࣰ فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَیِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ یَقۡنَطُونَ
English
And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair.

جب ہم لوگوں کو رحمت کا ذائقہ چکھاتے ہیں تو وہ اس پر پھول جاتے ہیں، اور جب ان کے اپنے کیے کرتوتوں سے ان پر کوئی مصیبت آتی ہے تو یکایک وہ مایوس ہونے لگتے ہیں
