Surah At-Tahrim Ayah 1
سُورَةُ التَّحۡرِيمِSurah At-Tahrim addresses an incident in the Prophet's household and emphasizes family responsibilities. It presents examples of righteous and unrighteous women.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّبِیُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَاۤ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكَۖ تَبۡتَغِی مَرۡضَاتَ أَزۡوَ ٰجِكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ
English
O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Urdu
اے نبیؐ، تم کیوں اُس چیز کو حرام کرتے ہو جو اللہ نے تمہارے لیے حلال کی ہے؟ (کیا اس لیے کہ) تم اپنی بیویوں کی خوشی چاہتے ہو؟ اللہ معاف کرنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے
