Surah At-Talaaq Ayah 8

وَكَأَیِّن مِّن قَرۡیَةٍ عَتَتۡ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِۦ فَحَاسَبۡنَـٰهَا حِسَابࣰا شَدِیدࣰا وَعَذَّبۡنَـٰهَا عَذَابࣰا نُّكۡرࣰا
English
And how many a city was insolent toward the command of its Lord and His messengers, so We took it to severe account and punished it with a terrible punishment.

کتنی ہی بستیاں ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے رب اور اس کے رسولوں کے حکم سے سرتابی کی تو ہم نے ان سے سخت محاسبہ کیا اور ان کو بری طرح سزا دی
