Surah At-Tawba Ayah 60
سُورَةُ التَّوۡبَةِSurah At-Tawbah is the only surah that does not begin with Bismillah. It addresses relations with polytheists and hypocrites, and calls for repentance and sincere faith.
۞ إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتُ لِلۡفُقَرَاۤءِ وَٱلۡمَسَـٰكِینِ وَٱلۡعَـٰمِلِینَ عَلَیۡهَا وَٱلۡمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَفِی ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلۡغَـٰرِمِینَ وَفِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِیلِۖ فَرِیضَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ حَكِیمࣱ
Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
یہ صدقات تو دراصل فقیروں اور مسکینوں کے لیے ہیں اور اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو صدقات کے کام پر مامور ہوں، اور اُن کے لیے جن کی تالیف قلب مطلوب ہو نیز یہ گردنوں کے چھڑانے اور قرض داروں کی مدد کرنے میں اور راہ خدا میں اور مسافر نوازی میں استعمال کرنے کے لیے ہیں ایک فریضہ ہے اللہ کی طرف سے اور اللہ سب کچھ جاننے والا اور دانا و بینا ہے
