Surah At-Tin

سُورَةُ التِّينِ
The Fig 8 Ayahs Meccan Juz 30

Surah At-Tin takes oaths by the fig and olive, then declares that humans were created in the best form but can fall to the lowest unless they believe.

وَالتِّیْنِ وَالزَّیْتُوْنِ ۟ۙ
English

By the fig and the olive

2
وَطُوْرِ سِیْنِیْنَ ۟ۙ
English

And [by] Mount Sinai

3
وَهٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْاَمِیْنِ ۟ۙ
English

And [by] this secure city [Makkah],

4
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ فِیْۤ اَحْسَنِ تَقْوِیْمٍ ۟ؗ
English

We have certainly created man in the best of stature;

5
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنٰهُ اَسْفَلَ سٰفِلِیْنَ ۟ۙ
English

Then We return him to the lowest of the low,

6
اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَلَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَیْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍ ۟ؕ
English

Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.

فَمَا یُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّیْنِ ۟ؕ
English

So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?

8
اَلَیْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَحْكَمِ الْحٰكِمِیْنَ ۟۠
English

Is not Allah the most just of judges?
