Surah Qaaf Ayah 36
سُورَةُ قٓSurah Qaf begins with the mysterious letter Qaf and focuses on resurrection and the afterlife. It mentions the recording angels and the certainty of death.

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشࣰا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِیصٍ
English
And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape?
