Surah Saba Ayah 14
سُورَةُ سَبَإٍSurah Saba tells of the kingdom of Sheba (Saba) and how their ingratitude led to their downfall. It also mentions Prophets Dawud and Sulayman.
فَلَمَّا قَضَیۡنَا عَلَیۡهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ مَا دَلَّهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَوۡتِهِۦۤ إِلَّا دَاۤبَّةُ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَأۡكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُۥۖ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَیَّنَتِ ٱلۡجِنُّ أَن لَّوۡ كَانُوا۟ یَعۡلَمُونَ ٱلۡغَیۡبَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡمُهِینِ
And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.
پھر جب سلیمانؑ پر ہم نے موت کا فیصلہ نافذ کیا تو جنوں کو اس کی موت کا پتہ دینے والی کوئی چیز اُس گھن کے سوا نہ تھی جو اس کے عصا کو کھا رہا تھا اس طرح جب سلیمانؑ گر پڑا تو جنوں پر یہ بات کھل گئی کہ اگر وہ غیب کے جاننے والے ہوتے تو اس ذلت کے عذاب میں مبتلا نہ رہتے
