Surah Yusuf Ayah 66
سُورَةُ يُوسُفَSurah Yusuf narrates the complete story of Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), described as the best of stories. It covers themes of patience, trust in Allah, and triumph over adversity.
قَالَ لَنۡ أُرۡسِلَهُۥ مَعَكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ تُؤۡتُونِ مَوۡثِقࣰا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَتَأۡتُنَّنِی بِهِۦۤ إِلَّاۤ أَن یُحَاطَ بِكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّاۤ ءَاتَوۡهُ مَوۡثِقَهُمۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِیلࣱ
[Jacob] said, "Never will I send him with you until you give me a promise by Allah that you will bring him [back] to me, unless you should be surrounded by enemies." And when they had given their promise, he said, "Allah, over what we say, is Witness."
ان کے باپ نے کہا "میں اس کو ہرگز تمہارے ساتھ نہ بھیجوں گا جب تک کہ تم اللہ کے نام سے مجھ کو پیمان نہ دے دو کہ اِسے میرے پا س ضرور واپس لے کر آؤ گے الا یہ کہ کہیں تم گھیر ہی لیے جاؤ" جب انہوں نے اس کو اپنے اپنے پیمان دے دیے تو اس نے کہا "دیکھو، ہمارے اس قول پر اللہ نگہبان ہے"
