Surah Aal-i-Imraan Ayah 93
سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَSurah Aal-i-Imran discusses the family of Imran, including Maryam and Isa (Jesus). It was revealed partly in response to a Christian delegation from Najran and addresses theological discussions about the nature of Jesus.
۞ كُلُّ ٱلطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلࣰّا لِّبَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تُنَزَّلَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةُۚ قُلۡ فَأۡتُوا۟ بِٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ فَٱتۡلُوهَاۤ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had made unlawful to himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, [O Muhammad], "So bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful."
بنی اسرائیل کے لیے (تورات کے نازل ہونے سے) پہلے کھانے کی تمام چیزیں حلال تھیں بجز ان کے جو یعقوب نے خود اپنے اوپر حرام کر لی تھیں کہہ دو کہ اگر سچے ہو تو تورات لاؤ اور اسے پڑھو (یعنی دلیل پیش کرو)
