Surah Al-Baqara Ayah 118
سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِSurah Al-Baqara is the longest chapter of the Quran, revealed in Madinah. It provides comprehensive guidance on Islamic law, stories of previous prophets, and instructions for building a righteous Muslim community.
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ لَوۡلَا یُكَلِّمُنَا ٱللَّهُ أَوۡ تَأۡتِینَاۤ ءَایَةࣱۗ كَذَ ٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّثۡلَ قَوۡلِهِمۡۘ تَشَـٰبَهَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ قَدۡ بَیَّنَّا ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یُوقِنُونَ
Those who do not know say, "Why does Allah not speak to us or there come to us a sign?" Thus spoke those before them like their words. Their hearts resemble each other. We have shown clearly the signs to a people who are certain [in faith].
اور جو لوگ (کچھ) نہیں جانتے (یعنی مشرک) وہ کہتے ہیں کہ خدا ہم سے کلام کیوں نہیں کرتا۔ یا ہمارے پاس کوئی نشانی کیوں نہیں آتی۔ اسی طرح جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے، وہ بھی انہی کی سی باتیں کیا کرتے تھے۔ ان لوگوں کے دل آپس میں ملتے جلتے ہیں۔ جو لوگ صاحبِ یقین ہیں، ان کے (سمجھانے کے) لیے نشانیاں بیان کردی ہیں
