Surah Al-Hadid Ayah 20
سُورَةُ الحَدِيدِSurah Al-Hadid glorifies Allah and calls for spending in His cause. It mentions iron sent down with great benefits and emphasizes the fleeting nature of worldly life.
ٱعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّمَا ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا لَعِبࣱ وَلَهۡوࣱ وَزِینَةࣱ وَتَفَاخُرُۢ بَیۡنَكُمۡ وَتَكَاثُرࣱ فِی ٱلۡأَمۡوَ ٰلِ وَٱلۡأَوۡلَـٰدِۖ كَمَثَلِ غَیۡثٍ أَعۡجَبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهُۥ ثُمَّ یَهِیجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصۡفَرࣰّا ثُمَّ یَكُونُ حُطَـٰمࣰاۖ وَفِی ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابࣱ شَدِیدࣱ وَمَغۡفِرَةࣱ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَ ٰنࣱۚ وَمَا ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۤ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلۡغُرُورِ
Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.
خوب جان لو کہ یہ دنیا کی زندگی اس کے سوا کچھ نہیں کہ ایک کھیل اور دل لگی اور ظاہری ٹیپ ٹاپ اور تمہارا آپس میں ایک دوسرے پر فخر جتانا اور مال و اولاد میں ایک دوسرے سے بڑھ جانے کی کوشش کرنا ہے اس کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے ایک بارش ہو گئی تو اس سے پیدا ہونے والی نباتات کو دیکھ کر کاشت کار خوش ہو گئے پھر وہی کھیتی پک جاتی ہے اور تم دیکھتے ہو کہ وہ زرد ہو گئی پھر وہ بھس بن کر رہ جاتی ہے اِس کے برعکس آخرت وہ جگہ ہے جہاں سخت عذاب ہے اور اللہ کی مغفرت اور اس کی خوشنودی ہے دنیا کی زندگی ایک دھوکے کی ٹٹی کے سوا کچھ نہیں
