Surah Al-Masad (Lahab)
سُورَةُ المَسَدِSurah Al-Masad condemns Abu Lahab and his wife for their fierce opposition to the Prophet. It declares that their wealth will not benefit them.
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ تَبَّتۡ یَدَاۤ أَبِی لَهَبࣲ وَتَبَّ
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
ٹوٹ گئے ابولہب کے ہاتھ اور نامراد ہو گیا وہ
مَاۤ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
اُس کا مال اور جو کچھ اس نے کمایا وہ اُس کے کسی کام نہ آیا
سَیَصۡلَىٰ نَارࣰا ذَاتَ لَهَبࣲ
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
ضرور وہ شعلہ زن آگ میں ڈالا جائے گا
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.
اور (اُس کے ساتھ) اُس کی جورو بھی، لگائی بجھائی کرنے والی
فِی جِیدِهَا حَبۡلࣱ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
اُس کی گردن میں مونجھ کی رسی ہوگی
