Surah An-Noor Ayah 2
سُورَةُ النُّورِSurah An-Nur establishes laws protecting family honor and social morality. It contains the famous Light Verse (Ayat an-Nur) describing Allah as the Light of the heavens and earth.
ٱلزَّانِیَةُ وَٱلزَّانِی فَٱجۡلِدُوا۟ كُلَّ وَ ٰحِدࣲ مِّنۡهُمَا مِا۟ئَةَ جَلۡدَةࣲۖ وَلَا تَأۡخُذۡكُم بِهِمَا رَأۡفَةࣱ فِی دِینِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِۖ وَلۡیَشۡهَدۡ عَذَابَهُمَا طَاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ
The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.
زانیہ عورت اور زانی مرد، دونوں میں سے ہر ایک کو سو کوڑے مارو اور ان پر ترس کھانے کا جذبہ اللہ کے دین کے معاملے میں تم کو دامن گیر نہ ہو اگر تم اللہ تعالیٰ اور روز آخر پر ایمان رکھتے ہو اور ان کو سزا دیتے وقت اہل ایمان کا ایک گروہ موجود رہے
