Surah At-Tawba Ayah 114
سُورَةُ التَّوۡبَةِSurah At-Tawbah is the only surah that does not begin with Bismillah. It addresses relations with polytheists and hypocrites, and calls for repentance and sincere faith.
وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ لِأَبِیهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةࣲ وَعَدَهَاۤ إِیَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَیَّنَ لَهُۥۤ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوࣱّ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ لَأَوَّ ٰهٌ حَلِیمࣱ
And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to Allah, he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient.
اور ابراہیم کا اپنے باپ کے لیے بخشش مانگنا تو ایک وعدے کا سبب تھا جو وہ اس سے کر چکے تھے۔ لیکن جب ان کو معلوم ہوگیا کہ وہ خدا کا دشمن ہے تو اس سے بیزار ہوگئے۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ ابراہیم بڑے نرم دل اور متحمل تھے
